It is my great pleasure and honor to invite all of you to the ten year anniversary Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and the first Asia-Pacific Congress on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention 2019 on March 15th-16th, 2019 at Grand Walkerhill hotel Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Let me brief you our society. Our society was established in 2010, as non-profit academic organization to devote itself with the convergence and collaboration of cardiology, neurology diabetology, and epidemiology to CVD prevention in Korea.
The average age of the Asia and Pacific population is rapidly growing and the prevalence of CVD is also increasing at an alarming rate. The mission of our congress is to make for a healthier brain and heart with the convergence of cardiovascular health care.
Under the theme of “Working together to improve the prognosis of cardiovascular disease in the Asia and Pacific area“, the meeting primarily aims to update and discuss the most important issue with the field of Brain and Heart. The scientific programs consist of two special Campus Asia sessions for CV risk factors, three joint sessions, ten sessions, two oral sessions, and three plenary lectures. Participants learn across the full scope of preventive Brain and Heart disease from prevention, epidemiology, and population science to hypertension, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, stroke, and diabetology, to cardiac rehabilitation to geriatric medicine.
I wish that Asia-Pacific Congress on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention 2019 will be an excellent opportunity to exchange scientific ideas and share knowledge through active participation and discussions and build human network.
I warmly welcome you all to the ten year anniversary Spring Conference of the Korean Society of CVD Prevention and the first Asia-Pacific Congress on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention 2019.
